How Clean is Your Water?

One of our favorite services we offer is providing a water analysis for our customers and helping them balance the chemicals in their pool or spa. It is so much fun for us to see and interact with our customers on a frequent basis! If you have never been to our store and gotten your water tested, this is what it entails.We request that you at least bring the amount of water that this size of bottle will hold. We would be happy to provide you with the bottle you see here. Just ask us when you come in!**NOTE: No Pickle Jars please! The acid will remain even after washed out and will distort the test. Please reach down elbow deep to get your water sample. Skimming the top of the water will not give you accurate test results.

Once we have all of your information we will then enter it into our computer system, and only need your name along with water clarity any time you come after that. The water analysis system we use is a computerized professional pool photometer that directly measures the seven primary tests of Free Chlorine (DPD), Total Chlorine (DPD), Bromine (DPD), pH, Alkalinity, Calcium Hardness, and Cyanuric Acid. It also tests Copper, Iron, Salt and Phosphate levels in addition to the primary chemicals.Your results will then be printed along with step by step instructions of the quantity of chemicals that are needed and how they need to be added to the pool. We will go over it all with you and answer any questions that you have.
Our computerized system will store all of your pool information, tests and results so that if we need to look back at them in the future, we can.
Chlorine Pools should be tested weekly.Salt Pools should be tested every 2-3 weeks.We also test Spa Water!Come by and see us! We would love to help you balance the chemicals in your pool or spa!

I wanted to take a moment and let you guys know what my wife and I thought about our experience with you, and our experience with our pool. First, let me say I don't do reviews!! Whether good or bad I have never felt compelled to write a review on anything. That said, Emily and I have been overwhelmed with the experience we have had with Splash Pools.Sean & Emily Templeton

Late last year, my husband and I were able to complete an in-ground pool at our home in Western North Carolina.Due to COVID and every other extenuating circumstance known to man, we were not able to utilize the pool in 2020 and were excitedly anxious to get the pool open in May 2021.We are novices at this endeavor and rely on folks who know a lot more about pools than us. We had issues with a Hayward super pump and needed several internal parts i.e. impeller, seals, etc. and were unable to receive assistance from any source around Asheville, NC, or in a timely manner online.On May 24, I searched online for Hayward parts dealers and located Splash Pools and placed a call and spoke with Jordan. She was very understanding, kind and helpful. She very quickly advised that she felt sure the parts were available at Splash Pools and checked to be sure. I inquired if she would please hold them until I could arrive approximately 1-1.5 hours later and she assured me that what I needed would be waiting for me. She also offered that if I needed an item that was not available at your location that arrangements would be made for me to pick it up in Greer so that we could move forward with opening our pool. Also, she advised me to bring the pump with me and they would be sure I was getting the parts I needed.I arrived and walked into the store and 2 extremely helpful ladies were present to assist me. I told them I had spoken with Jordan and was immediately met with the reply that they had my items at the desk waiting on me. I suppose I looked shocked and Jordan as well as the other ladies looked everything over and made sure that I had what I needed.I inquired if they could put it together for me there, as my husband said if it was possible to pay them to do so. They went into the back and 3 gentlemen came to the counter and put the parts together and advised me how to put it back on with 4 screws and nothing could have been easier.I know this has been a lengthy explanation of what occurred on that day; however, I wanted to let you know what OUTSTANDING employees are working at Splash Pools. In a time when good employees are fewer by the day, there are still folks who take pride in their work and are truly dedicated to helping their customers. Your folks went above and beyond to assist me with everything I needed and more. Kudos to Splash Pools employees!!!!!Please be sure to let them know what a great job they did and that it did not go unnoticed.
